Our Saint Patty's Day host really brought the color this week. Leprechaun binoculars, a trap, and line cutting to make crowns were only a few of the goodies our kiddos got to do. Spring is right around the corner and the daylight is getting longer. Good news for our Mud Kitchen Reno.

Valentine's Day exchange was supported by many activities including making paper hearts, making unicorns, taking friend pictures at the photo station, and giving valentines in each handmade mailbox. These families got creative in the best way possible.

Our host today made these amazing picture scavenger hunt bags for the children to use to find, leaves, acorns, and pinecones. Once they did, they won a sparkling gem to take home.
We also enjoyed an amazing snack, and did Valentine crafts that included bookmarks and homemade cardboard mailboxes.

Today the children created sun catchers that our host parent provided. She rocked a busy and distracted story time and every child who needed a snack got one or two or three. There was coloring, cutting, water exploration, and many sensory bins. We planted tulips!
Message if you would like to try out Mud Kitchen Reno. Come as you are.

Our Mud Kitchen families host different days and this week the host provided wreaths out of natural fallen leaves and cardboard. Children learning how to squeeze glue, promotes fine motor skills and improves hand strength. Talking about the color of the leaves, touching and observing helps to teach about the season of Fall.
