We had a blast at our holiday social last night! Thank you to our membership and social chairs Malcolm and Clayton for putting on this event. Happy holidays!

Business Student Council had the best time at our bowling social last week! Where’s your favorite place to bowl in Reno?

Our incredible Professional Student Closet (PSC) team has been hard at work this semester! After two pop up events, 201 donation items were “sold” out of 233. That’s an 86% match rate! Additionally, multiple news outlets took notice of the Professional Student Closet and helped get the word out!

The Professional Student Closet team is looking forward to next semester and working with more people on campus and in the community to ensure student success.

Meet the BSC Executive Board! Kendell is our President.

Kendell is a senior majoring in Economics and Finance with a minor in Business Analytics. Kendell’s favorite thing about BSC is: “The impressive members (now friends), and the ability to grow yourself professionally in ways you could never imagine! 💙BSC”

Cameron is a senior majoring in Management and Marketing with a minor in Business Analytics. Cameron’s favorite thing about BSC is: “All the socials and fun we have as a council, along with getting the opportunity to meet so many cool, like minded individuals throughout the College of Business.”

Camellia is a senior majoring in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and International Business with minors in Business Analytics and Statistics. Camellia’s favorite thing about BSC is: “Not only has BSC helped me with interpersonal networking skills, but also intrapersonally. It helped me a lot with recognizing myself and really getting to know myself in certain directions.”

Michelle is a junior majoring in Accounting and minoring in Economics. Michelle’s favorite thing about BSC is: “Meeting like-minded individuals.”

Sydney is a senior majoring in Marketing with a minor in Mathematics. Sydney’s favorite thing about BSC is: “Giving back to the College of Business, developing professionally, and meeting so many amazing friends.”

Clayton is a sophomore majoring in Marketing and Management with a minor in Business Analytics. Clayton’s favorite thing about BSC is: “The friends I’ve made!”

Jack is a sophomore majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. Jack’s favorite thing about BSC is: “Everyone has driven values and goals but still enjoys the journey.”

Ethan is a senior majoring in Finance with a minor in Accounting. Ethan’s favorite thing about BSC is: “Meeting other business majors!”

Alana is a sophomore majoring in Marketing and Management with minors in Information Systems and Business Analytics. Alana’s favorite thing about BSC is: “I love how we get to play a huge role in the school and learn to be leaders for everyone that follows.”

Alyssa is a sophomore majoring in Information Systems. Alyssa’s favorite thing about BSC is: “The people I’ve met and the connections I’ve been able to make.”

The Professional Student Closet has been a huge success so far this semester! Thank you to everyone who has donated and attended our events!

There will be another Pop Up Event at Prepare for the Fair this Wednesday October 12 from 11 am - 2 pm in the JCSU Ballrooms (4th Floor). All UNR students are welcome (not just business majors!)
