🚨 CROSSWALK PRESCHOOL CLOSURE UPDATE 🚨

Due to the proximity of the Hawk Fire and the fact that Crosswalk Preschool is currently within the evacuation zone, we will be closed tomorrow 8/24 and we not be able to reopen until the evacuation order for our area has been lifted.

The safety of our children, families, and staff is our highest priority. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this closure may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding during this uncertain time.

We will continue to keep our families updated as we receive new information and will let everyone know as soon as it is safe for us to reopen.

🙏 Our prayers remain with all of the families and community members affected or displaced by the fire, as well as the firefighters, first responders, and everyone working tirelessly to keep our community safe.

Our hearts are heavy as the Hawk Fire continues to impact our community. Crosswalk Preschool Reno, Kings Row Clc, and Outlook Christian Church are now located within the evacuation zone, and we know that some of our preschool families, staff members, friends, and neighbors may be facing evacuation or displacement.

We are praying for every family affected by this fire — for safety, comfort, protection, and peace during such an uncertain and frightening time. ❤️

We are also incredibly grateful for the firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, emergency personnel, volunteers, and everyone working tirelessly to fight these fires and keep our community safe. We pray for their protection and strength as they continue this difficult work. 🙏🚒

To any of our Crosswalk families or staff who have been affected or displaced: we are thinking of you, praying for you, and standing with you. You are an important part of our Crosswalk family. ❤️

Please continue to stay safe, follow evacuation instructions, and keep our entire community — especially those on the front lines — in your prayers.
