We tabled and attended the Family Futures Student Success, Career Readiness, and Educational Initiative event hosted by the Washoe Tribe at the Carson City Colony on June 2nd. We enjoyed celebrating their students and sharing information about the Tribal Academy and the Office of Indigenous Relations!

The second thing on a college student’s to-do list should be to develop at least one new skill. This could be a good time over summer to improve on skill sets related to career development or create a new one, even if it is simple and short.

The first to-do students should do is take time to recover from the semester. Taking the time to create a space to decompress and relax from a long semester is a great way to avoid burnout and feel refreshed for the summer.
