With the fires closing all the schools I gotta adjust our schedule tomorrow morning. Night classes will occur as scheduled, but no morning class, Monday 8/24. If you can assist as well The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is asking for volunteers to help prepare emergency food packages for fire victims during a special session on Monday.

About 15 people are needed for the volunteer session, which will run from noon to 2 p.m. at the Food Bank Warehouse located at 550 Italy Drive in Reno.

People who want to help can sign up immediately at FBNN.org.

This might be the greatest fight I’ve ever cornered. When I have new students ask me about competition and fighting, I tell them you have to want it more than anything. This is what I mean.

Everybody talks about wanting to be a champion, but this is what it takes. Orion and Joseph put on a damn show and left a piece of themselves in that ring. Heavy kicks, heavy punches, primal screams, all with time standing still for five rounds.

You can’t fake what happens when the bell rings. Eventually, the fight tells the truth.

I didn’t see this clip from the fight until today, and I had to repost it. I don’t know who filmed it, so I apologize for not tagging them.
