Echo Loder Elementary School

Spring Break is here! Have a wonderful and safe break. School will resume on Monday, April 6.

Recently we had an amazing event with WCSD Parent University and Arts for All Nevada. Our students created undersea scenes with pastels and water color paints. Students then were able to share their pieces with the whole group and explain their art. Thank you to all who attended. We hope to see you at our next event!

On Monday our second temporary playground will open. We are excited for our students to have another play structure back! After spring break we should have a half court basketball court painted on the blacktop! Leveling and grading are still happening for the main building! Progress!

We had an AMAZING Reading Week at Echo Loder! We were sure to 'Book an Adventure' with so many guests visiting. We had police officers, fire fighters, WCSD Trustees Beth Smith and Colleen Westlake, and WCSD Superintendent Joe Ernst as guest readers last week! Thank you to all of our guests who gave up a portion of your day to share time with our Mustangs!

This week in construction we see the second temporary playground being installed. By this time next week we should have asphalt for a half-court basketball court. Also, major excavation has begun on the building site! Happy Friday!

Construction is continuing here at Echo Loder. The modular building is completely gone, and they are preparing the area for a repurposed playground area during construction. Other parts of play equipment have been relocated to make another temporary play area for us.

Today will be a two hour delayed start due to expected weather and road conditions. Classes will begin two hours later, and winter bus stops will be in effect. All morning half-day early childhood programs will be cancelled.
