From teaching Lisa Marie Presley and Eddie Murphy how to ski in Tahoe, to being an accomplished high school math teacher, and everything in between, Jason has taught many in various walks of life. He’s also coached high school football players to the most elite level, D1 college and NFL. Now, he is answering the call from many past and current students and connections in the area to start teaching his true passion, fly fishing!
At the Academy, you will only find Jason’s highly effective, high energy, instructional practices. He has developed a proven, detailed curriculum, and will have course expectations and requirements outlined to ensure success for every student.

Had the absolute PLEASURE of working with the folks from from Las Vegas. This group travels the country motivating African Americans to enjoy the outdoors! Somersett Golf & Country Club Golf Pro Brandy Casey is the most recent graduate from The Academy!
Her request, "teach me how to ESN and let's find a big fish...".
And that we did! Holy smokes!! A lifetime brown today. After only 20 minutes on her Nymph rod, she had it bent with this gorgeous brown trout on the other end. The smiles tell the rest of the story.
