To be able to play an instrument, sing, and create music is an uplifting experience that can have so many positive effects in our lives and communities. It just takes time, dedication, and a lil help from our friends. I'm here to help you on that fun and magical music journey! We will explore the joyful sounds of your ukulele, a fabulous "beginners" instrument, through strum technique, finger plac

ement and basic music theory. We will also develop your Ear and Voice through posture and breathing exercises, vocal techniques and listening to each other. And finally we will have tons of fun song-writing, learning different chord progressions and scales, working with phonetics and creating poetry! My educational and professional background in children's education and music over the last 20 years has helped me to develop a well-rounded, fun approach to music learning that is perfect for beginners of any age. I’m excited to be teaching a new family music class at Mountain Music Parlor on Saturdays this winter!

Denielle’s Musical Wheel is designed for all beginner music students, ages 3 months to 7 years, fun for the whole family and based in “Music Together” philosophy. The best kind of music education is play based and communal, setting your child up to have more fun with learning and better social skills for future educational environments.🥰
