**A Prayer for Our School Year**

Heavenly Father,

As we begin a new school year at St. Michael, we place our families, our children, and our school community into Your loving hands.

Bless our parents with patience, wisdom, and peace as they guide their children through another year of learning and growing. Give them strength for the busy mornings, grace for the difficult days, and joy in the little moments that can so easily be missed.

Help our parents to remember that they are their children's first and most important teachers. May their homes be places where faith is nurtured, questions are welcomed, forgiveness is practiced, and love is always present.

Lord, watch over every child who walks through the doors of St. Michael. Keep them safe, help them to grow in confidence and kindness, and open their hearts and minds to all that You are calling them to become.

Bless our teachers and staff with patience, energy, wisdom, and a deep sense of purpose. May everything we do this year point our students toward You.

We pray especially for our parents who may be sending a child to school for the first time, those facing changes or challenges, and those who carry worries they have not shared with anyone. Remind them that they do not walk this journey alone. Surround them with Your peace and with the support of our St. Michael family.

May this school year be filled with faith, friendship, learning, laughter, and countless opportunities to see Your goodness.
