Barak Farm’s homebred Moneta Agenda rallied from last and survived a jockey’s objection to win the $125,000 Jamestown Stakes for Virginia- or Maryland-bred or -sired juvenile males on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Colonial Downs.

Trained by Jose Corrales and ridden by Ismerio Villalobos, Moneta Agenda was sired by Known Agenda out of the Max’s Pal mare Bella Moneta.

Breaking his maiden on Saturday, he improved his career record to 5-1-0-1 with earnings of $83,520.

The Maryland Jockey Club, Gov. Wes Moore and NBC Sports have announced the Preakness Stakes will move back one week and a day starting in 2027.

The 152nd Preakness Stakes will be held at Pimlico Race Course on Sunday, May 23, 2027, rather than its traditional date on the third Saturday in May. As part of the updated Preakness schedule, the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes will move from its usual Friday spot to Saturday, May 22, 2027.
