Today’s Super Science Friday for Mrs. Moretz and Mrs. Evans classes was a sweet way to explore states of matter! 🍫☀️ Students observed how chocolate changed from a solid to a liquid as they timed how long it took to melt in the sun versus the shade.

Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Hall ‘s class had a busy week! They studied push and pull in science! They learned all about the same and different in math.

☀️ Mrs. May’s class became solar engineers today! 🍫

Our class put their science and reading skills to the test by building door-powered s’mores ovens out of various household materials. This hands-on project allowed them to study thermal heat transfer in real-time.

To make things even more exciting, this was a completely independent challenge. Students had to rely entirely on their reading comprehension skills to follow step-by-step written instructions with zero teacher assistance. They did an incredible job collaborating, problem-solving, and building!

A huge thank you to our amazing parents for sending in the building materials and delicious s'mores ingredients. Everyone had an absolute blast watching the sun do the cooking!
