Good Morning Wentworth Families!

I wanted to make you aware of a Donor's Choose Project I have created to benefit ALL students and families at Wentworth.

The Project is for a Little Free Library! I have wanted to get one of these for our school for awhile now. A Little Free Library is a structure that will be located in front of the school where families can exchange books for free, ANY time of the day, night, or year.

This is beneficial because it will provide access for students and families to books 24/7, regardless of breaks or holidays; or when you can't make it to the public library.

Familes can "Leave a Book or Take a Book" as needed. I already have families who have asked about donating books, all we need is the Little Free Library structure!

Hi Wentworth Families!

We are preparing to start tryouts and practice for our 4th and 5th grade Battle of the Books Team! Students in grades 4 and 5 will be learning about what it means to be on the Battle of the Books team and this years Book List during Library enhancements this week.

Battle of the Books is not required. Students who are interested will bring home a permission slip. We will hold an information meeting on October 4th 2:30-3:00 pm in the Media Center. Parents are welcome to attend.

We need extra copies of the books on the list so that we can make sure all students who are trying out have a copy of the books. If you can donate even just one book that would be wonderful! I have created an Amazon wish list below. Our students would be most grateful!!
