The field is calling, and our K–5th Grade Conquerors are ready to answer! ❤️🖤🤍

We’re excited to launch a fun-filled season of Conquerors Elementary Soccer—where our students will build skills, make friends, compete, and learn what it means to play with character, teamwork, and a Christ-centered spirit!

⚽ FALL 2026 SEASON

📅 Wednesdays | After School – 4:30 PM
or until the final games are complete

SEASON SCHEDULE:
🔴 Sept. 2 — Player Assessments
⚫ Sept. 9 & 16 — Practices
🔴 Sept. 23 – Oct. 28 — Regular Season Games
🏆 Friday, Oct. 30 — Championship Tournament Round

💰 Cost: $50 per student

Every player receives:

Community Baptist Schools Families – We Need Your Help!

Our CBS Fall Family Festival is quickly approaching on Saturday, October 10, from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, and we're excited to begin what we hope becomes a wonderful annual tradition for our school and the Reidsville community!

We are currently seeking craft vendors, local businesses, artisans, boutiques, direct sales vendors, and community organizations to join us for this special day of family fun.

We encourage every CBS family to share this post, invite local vendors you know, and help us spread the word throughout our community. The more vendors we have, the greater the experience will be for everyone who attends!

Sacred Seniors Sunrise - The Last First Day of High School

Before the halls filled with students and the first bell of the school year rang, several of our Class of 2027 seniors gathered for something truly special—our Sacred Seniors Sunrise.

Wrapped in blankets, surrounded by friends, and beneath one of God's most beautiful sunrises, they took time to reflect, laugh, pray, and simply enjoy being together as they began the final chapter of their high school journey at Community Baptist Schools.

There was something incredibly meaningful about watching the sun rise on their last first day of high school. It served as a beautiful reminder that God's mercies are new every morning and that He has already gone before them into this senior year. As the sky filled with brilliant colors, so did our hearts with gratitude for each of these remarkable young men and women.

These are the moments that become lifelong memories—not because of anything extravagant, but because they are shared with people who have become family through the years. One day they'll look back on this morning, remember the cool breeze, the laughter, the conversations, and the sunrise that welcomed them into their senior year, and they'll smile.

We are incredibly proud of each of our seniors and are excited to watch God continue to write their stories throughout this year. We know He has wonderful plans ahead, and we can't wait to celebrate every milestone along the way.

And the senior traditions are just getting started...

Next up: Painting those senior parking spots! Stay tuned—it's going to be another unforgettable memory for the Class of 2027!

Teacher Spiritual Retreat - August 5, 2026

As we prepared our hearts for the beginning of a new school year, our faculty and staff were blessed with a special Teacher Spiritual Retreat at St. Francis Springs Prayer Center in Stoneville, North Carolina.

Pastor Randy desired to provide our teachers with something far more valuable than a meeting or training session—a day of rest, reflection, renewal, and intentional quiet time with the Lord. Before we can effectively pour into the lives of our students, we must first allow God to fill our own hearts. The message shared reminded us of this important truth: we cannot fill the cups of others if our own cup is empty. Only through our daily relationship with Jesus Christ can we faithfully serve those He has entrusted to us.

Throughout the day, our teachers enjoyed a wonderful lunch and had the opportunity to experience the peaceful beauty of the prayer center. Many spent time walking the scenic trails, praying in the breathtaking glass chapel nestled in the woods, reflecting through the labyrinth, exploring the incredible library, and discovering the many quiet places designed to draw hearts closer to God. It was a day marked by stillness, gratitude, and the refreshing presence of the Lord.

One of the most meaningful moments of the retreat came as Pastor Randy, Pastor George, and Pastor Harley served Communion to each member of our faculty and staff. Together, we paused to remember Christ's sacrifice, recommit ourselves to His calling, and dedicate the upcoming school year to His glory.

We are incredibly thankful for the vision and heart behind this retreat and are already looking forward to making it an annual tradition for our Community Baptist Schools family.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our Community Baptist Church families for providing this incredible gift to our teachers. Your generosity, love, ENGAGEMENT, and investment in our faculty have encouraged and strengthened those who have been called to disciple and educate the next generation. Your prayers and support remind us that we are truly serving together as one body in Christ.

MEET THE TEACHER – Ms. Abby Everhart

We're excited to introduce Ms. Abby Everhart, our incredible Aftercare & Summer Camp Director! For the past 3.5 years, she has been a valued part of the Community Baptist Schools family, bringing a total of 5 years of teaching experience to the students she serves each day. Her caring heart, adventurous spirit, and genuine love for children make her such a blessing to our CBS community.

One fun fact about Ms. Abby? She's already visited 20 states, and she's determined to check Maine and Washington off her travel bucket list next! Whether she's exploring a new hiking trail or planning her next adventure, she's always ready for the journey.

When she's not at school, you'll likely find her crocheting, reading, hiking, or running with her dog. She enjoys keeping life active and creative while spending time outdoors.

And now for a little fun... 😄

Ms. Abby is currently single and faithfully trusting God's perfect timing for the right young Christian man to come along. She's content letting the Lord write that chapter of her story while she continues serving students, hiking with her dog, and checking more states off her travel bucket list.

For any interested young Christian gentlemen... applications are not being accepted through the Aftercare office, Summer Camp registration, Amazon Prime, or Dr. Pepper rewards. 😂 All potential applicants must first forward their application to the Executive Administrator's Office for a thorough review and approval before any interviews will be considered! 😄📋

Meet the Teacher – Mrs. Paige Isley

We are excited to introduce Mrs. Paige Isley, our wonderful Preschool Teacher at Community Baptist Schools! This school year marks her 5th year teaching preschool at CBS, and we are so thankful for the love, care, and Christ-centered encouragement she brings to our youngest Conquerors each day.

Mrs. Isley is married to her elementary school sweetheart, and together they have two wonderful children, Lilianna and Weston. Family is at the center of her heart, and she is looking forward to meeting each of our preschool families and loving on your little ones throughout the school year.

Mrs. Isley's joyful spirit, caring heart, and passion for teaching make her a tremendous blessing to our preschool program. We know this will be another amazing year as she helps our youngest Conquerors grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a loving, Christ-centered environment.
