Our first grade Patriots wrapped up their unit on apples by spending the morning at the orchard! 🍎🌳

They watched apple c***r being made, tasted different kinds of apples, took a hayride, and even picked a few apples of their own!

The perfect way to take what they’ve been learning in the classroom and experience it firsthand. 🍏❤️

History, but make it fun📚

Last week Mrs. Bottenfield’s 7th graders explored ancient Mesopotamia and cuneiform, one of the earliest forms of writing.

Using Play-Doh as clay tablets and toothpicks as a stylus, they got to experience how the Sumerians recorded and preserved information thousands of years ago.

A little history + a little Play-Doh = a pretty good day in the classroom. ❤️🤍💙
