We all experience the death of people we love. It is an experience we all share and for most of us, it is hard. It's the subject of my latest blog posting.

Today, I talk about Grief and Loss and my work as a Grief Coach. Most of us have experienced the death of loved ones. Grief hurts, often a lot. Sometimes it can be crushing and all-consuming. For some of us, we may not be able to see at first how we’re going to get through it, though we do, as har...

In my most recent blog posting I explain more about my coaching in the area End of Life. This includes Grief Coaching as well as Coaching for Life Threatening or Terminal Ilness. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

In addition to my Integral Life Coaching, I also work in the area of End of Life Coaching. In this posting I introduce and explain my work in this area. It was the result of a decision I made to receive training and credentialing as an End of Life Coach, which includes grief, loss and life threateni...

Following up on my latest blog postings, here’s a little humor about ‘waking up’. I post this from Tallinn, Estonia, the last stop on a twelve-day biking trip we’ve been on in the Baltic States. We have two days here, then two nights in Helsinki, Finland and then home.

Last week I talked about the two paths by which humans can continue to grow and develop: 1) The vertical or spiritual path, which philosopher Ken Wilber calls Waking Up; and 2) the horizontal or developmental path, which he calls Growing Up.

In this week's blog posting I talk about Cleaning Up, the term Wilber gives to the process of dealing with remnant psychological issues, which, if unaddressed, will at some point hinder one's potential for both Waking Up and Growing Up.

Cleaning Up is the name of the process for facing remnant psychological issues that hinder our ability to both Wake Up and Grow Up. Without Cleaning Up, we will find ourselves unable to grow as human beings on either the vertical, spiritual dimension (Waking Up) or the horizontal, developmental dime...

There are two general paths of human development available to us. One is largely spiritual while the other is more developmental. They've been referred to by the philospher Ken Wilber as 'Waking Up' and 'Growing Up'. Both take us to higher consciousness. Today's posting offers an introduction to each.

In this posting, I explain Waking Up and Growing Up, two aspects by which human beings grow and develop. Most of the work of Life Coaching concerns incremental steps along the path of Growing Up. Growing up means doing more, seeing more, being more.

Here is Part 2 of my two-part blog series begun on March 21 on Spirituality vs. Religion and how it factors into my work as a life coach.

This posting continues a two-part discussion on the difference between Spirituality and Religion. The focus in this posting is on Spirituality, following a discussion in my last blog posting about Religion. I also explain the relevance of all this to Life Coaching.

This is a great little video. It touches on a lot of the reasons why I’m a life coach. Every journey has a starting point. It is never too late to start that journey or shift direction. How might I help you?

Do you identify as spiritual but not religious? Understand why. Check out my latest blog posting.

Do you identify as spiritual but not religious? Understand why. Check out my latest blog posting.

In society today, there seems to be huge confusion about the difference between spirituality and religion. One often hears people say, “I am spiritual but not religious.” Complicating things in this regard is that most of what we see in our news coverage today are fundamentalist manifestations o...

A new posting on my life coaching blog. If I can be of service to you as a Life Coach, please let me know. I also work with those who are grieving as well as those who are dealing with life-threatening illness.

This posting is both a rumination on our times following the recent U.S. General Election and an acknowledgment of the magnificent life of Leonard Cohen (September 21, 1934 – November 7, 2016). Alt...

Grief is grief.

It's OK if you're not ready to fight yet. Psychologists recommend giving yourself time to mourn.
