Back to running tiny pistols as hard as I can. There’s some guys like who absolutely rip on them and really show what they are capable of.

With .arms magazines and red dots, there’s really not a downside to pistols of this size.

As if it wasn’t hard enough to remember stages, now I have to remember to move my shirt out of the way when I reload.

Tech Update:

We finally launched the closed Android beta of 3E! If anyone wants in on it, we need their Google account email to add them to the test list. We’ve been really focused on getting Android going; now we’ll be able to pivot back to features. Email

We identified an issue with Garmin that caused some data to be missing or stale. Basically, they’d send the daily data with a timestamp, then send follow-up data in a different timezone, so our system saw the update as older than the first batch of data and skipped it. We went ahead and backfilled about 4500 updates, so you might see your historic data shift.

Programming is getting added as quickly as possible; we’re taking some time to clean up the instructions so that the prescriptions shown support workout scaling. When we roll that update out, we’re aiming to add dynamic font scaling so the tiny instruction fonts are easier to read for sh*tty or old eyes.

This is a serious business with serious people… And that takes a toll on the brain and body.

This is why you’ll see guys microdosing moments of levity- it’s not just about fu***ng around, it’s a subconscious attempt at relaxing both the individual and the team. At a high level this is more common than you realize but there’s a ton of nuance to when this happens that requires a tremendous base of skill level to understand.

Resting between house runs post-run AAR? Free game to grab that BMX bike and mess around. The next run is a foregone conclusion.

Building charges and systems? That’s a low intensity but high focus moment- you’re not going to see many guys being super jovial in that moment. One wrong measurement or connection can mean a failed breach or a teammate losing their life.

Knowing the difference is key.

Microdosing recovery is another key.

Most importantly, sleeping after these evolutions is when the brain is able to commit these actions and events to memory in a meaningful way.
