Teaching is a journey of heart, resilience, and unwavering commitment. There are days filled with inspiration and laughter-and others that ask everything from you. But still, you show up.

You show up with compassion, positive intent, empathy, thoughtful intention and calm! Thank you!

Two weekends ago I attended the Childcare Conference at the Hillard Bank Center in Corpus Christi. There were lots of people from all across South Tx.I think they said there were about 750 in attendance. I got to meet lots of childcare providers and exchange useful information . The speakers were great learned alot. They had vendors there also from several major childcare distributors. At the end of the conference they gave away prizes. Lots and lots of prizes !! It was like The Price Is Right. As I waited patiently i knew I was not going to win anything but I waited. Well I was so wrong and was so worth waiting! I was the grand prize winner. I was awarded a dramatic play center worth approximately $4,000.00. This prize was given by Kaplan Early Learning Company. I would like to thank Texas Workforce Solutions and The Texas Health and Human Services.
