Hey there! In need of a stand-up bassist! My voice student Kestrel and his brother Cedrus, a fantastic pianist, just joined the small jazz emsembles class at CSM. There are no bassists enrolled! I am reaching out to my music tribe, wondering if you know any high school or college bassists who would like to improve sightreading and improv skills. The class is held on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Please let me know if you can think of anyone:)

Hey there! I’ll be playing in a Songwriters Showcase tomorrow night at Roger Bar at the Ameswell Hotel in Mountain View with these other fantastic female artists: Melinda, Hanna, Ashley, and Abby. I go on at 7:35.

My extremely talented daughter Maddy choreographed this beautiful piece for her high school dance team dedicated to Jeff, Ben and I. We were lucky enough to attend the performance in Long Beach a few weeks ago. It has tremendous story and meaning behind it and I was moved to tears at watching these young girls, many of whom only started dancing in high school, bring Maddy’s vision alive giving them the opportunity not only to dance, but to create art. The dancer in white represents Maddy, the chair, home, and the other dancers, the environment Maddy faced as she entered college, leaving home for the first time. Beautiful work my love!

I am finishing up a remodel of our home studio and will be moving my Mo Music Voice Studio home in the next month or so.
