The first day of Spring and the Equinox(equal light and darkness in our day) is here! We celebrated with afternoon tea and finger foods. Our decorations filled our garden with mushroom 🍄 strings, mosaic butterflies, and egg patterns that were layered in nature. It was a collective effort which made the day so very special. Our visitor, Willow the lamb, will be with us until the end of the week where she will then return to the ranch we visited during our last field trip.

Our summer brought beautiful weather, giving an outdoor class room and unlimited outdoor play! Currently they have two 1-4 yrs, full time spots available starting November 1st. My beautiful, fun loving, zest for adventure, lessons in life, brilliant children! Mother’s can be the glue and they can also come unglued. At the end of the day pull it together and pat yourself on the back 💞 and give the kids one too! We are imperfect BUT we are perfect together 🙌🏼

An act of kindness shows you value the receiver. It should be given without expectation of return. It influences the giver more than the receiver. If we were all to practice kindness throughout our day it would be filled with mindfulness and presence. The best way to teach kindness to a child is to be a great model and allow them to experience it.

Create opportunities for your child to be successful in independent tasks. Put them to work. Give them choices. Acknowledge them by name and recognize their emotions. With practice there is progress and mastery of their own level of development.
