Redwater ISD Celebrates 7 Years as a Texas Art Education Association District of Distinction! 🎨🖌️✨

This award recognizes districts with outstanding leadership and commitment to visual arts education, including student participation, exhibitions, contests, community engagement, and more. Only 109 out of 1,200+ eligible districts across the entire state received this distinction this year, and just 30 districts (a mere 2.5%!) have ever achieved it seven times.

We aRe so proud of our talented students, dedicated art teachers, and the ongoing support from Dragon Kingdom's parents, staff, administration, and school board.

🏈💙 REDWATER HOMECOMING MINI MUMS ARE HERE! 💙🖤
Our Redwater Floral Design students are putting their skills to work creating 6-inch Mini Mums in our Dragon colors—royal blue, black, and white! Each mum will be individually designed by our students, so every one will be unique. 🌸
✨ $18 each
📏 6-inch Mini Mum
📅 Orders due September 9, 2026
📍 Delivered to the student's campus by September 25
Each mum will feature an assortment of ribbons, patterned designs, ribbon points, chain garland, bells, and Homecoming trinkets.
**PLEASE NOTE:** These are student-created designs, so mums will vary slightly from the example based on available supplies and student creativity.
💳 Mums must be paid for before they will be made. Payment will be made through the RISD Store after submitting the order form.
🚨 NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Important Update, Dragon Kingdom!
Due to water loss, we will be dismissing early today. Car riders can be picked up from 10:30-11:30 am and follow our normal dismissal procedures. Buses will run at 11:00 am.
