Dear Jamaica Alum,
We didn’t think we’d have to be writing you this letter but the time has come now due to the VIRUS..
We have cancelled our November 14th REUNION DATE date at Terrace on the Park.
SO in light of this time in our history we are officially informing you all that we are postponing our Reunion. Not cancelling the venue!
We will be back in touch again when we arrange for another date when this crisis comes to its healthier conclusion.
Our hearts are with all of you as we are going thru this difficult time. Aside from 9-11, this is the most surreal time we have ever been thru- like a bad science fiction movie. I’m sure all of you share this feeling. Stay safe and healthy as we go thru this together. We’re sending you our prayers that you and your families survive these very trying times.

Dear Jamaica High School Alumni,
As you probably know, Corona Virus, or CoVid-19 as it has been renamed, has been in the news lately.
Bonnie and I have been following the events closely, specifically the rate of infection appearing in countries around the world. Our concern is that by the time the reunion rolls around in November, if the infection rate has increased, travel may be restricted.
Our concern is for the health and well being of our alumni friends, as well as the large financial commitment that Bonnie and I have undertaken to host the reunion. We have a six-month lead time if we wish to recover a portion of the funds we have already spent on deposits.
To that end, we feel that in the next several weeks we will be able to better tell if the reunion is a “go” or will have to be postponed. In the meantime, please do not make hotel or airline reservations.
