Start by giving support without doing everything for them. The goal is to gradually hand over responsibility while teaching the skills they need to be successful.

Small steps, like using checklists, planning tools, and routines, can help learners build confidence and ownership over time.

Independence isn't something that happens overnight. It's a skill that grows with practice. 💡

Is your learner working on fractions? 🍪 Here’s a fun hands-on way to practice at home: double a recipe together!

If the recipe calls for 1/3 cup of sugar, turn it into a math challenge instead of measuring separately:
1/3 + 1/3 = 2/3

Cooking makes math feel real, interactive, and way more memorable… plus your learner gets a sweet treat at the end. 😉

Happy Saturday!☀️ Have you played with your learner? We love this game! It’s the perfect way to work on spatial recognition, planning, and problem solving because it teaches all three!

The way you talk to yourself matters.
That inner voice? It’s powerful. Let it build you up, not break you down.

💭 Instead of:
“I’m so stupid.”
Try: “I’m learning. Mistakes happen.”

💭 Instead of:
“I’ll never get this right.”
Try: “This is tough, but I’ll keep trying.”
