The American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is offering multiple scholarships to support students and young professionals in sustainable energy.
Don Aitken Memorial Scholarship – $500
Gene Clark Memorial Scholarship – $1,000 (graduate students)
Wenger Shugar Solar + Storage Scholarship – $3,000
Open to active ASES student members involved through internships or student chapters.

Meet Miho Asada, an Architectural Designer at Stantec, where she contributes to impactful projects in the transit sector. Miho earned her Bachelor of Architecture from SCI-Arc after beginning her academic journey at Pierce College.
With a strong foundation in design and a passion for infrastructure that connects communities, Miho brings a thoughtful and people-centered perspective to the environments she helps shape. Meet Aubin Gastineau, RA, a Senior Associate and Architect whose passion for design has taken him across Europe, Asia, and North America. Originally from France, Aubin holds a master’s degree in architecture and urban planning from ENSAS and is a licensed architect in California.
His journey began with Gensler in 2016, working on hospitality projects, and he has since expanded his expertise to mixed-use, residential, cultural, and master plan design. Aubin focuses on creating spaces that foster connection and elevate the human experience. His global experience enables him to bring a unique and diverse cultural perspective into these environments.
