For the first time in ten years of doing this, I, Madam Chairperson, forgot to load my car before heading to Pasadena for my Speakers League club meeting.
This trunk should be filled with boxes of supplies, a projector, a lectern, a tripod. Whoops.
The best part was when I told the first parent to arrive that I had zero materials for us to use. He laughed and said, "April Fools, right?" Oh, man, I wish. LOL
The kids were great - we're managing just fine.

"Lucas had an opportunity to speak in front of a live audience of over 300 people this past weekend. He did amazing and when members of the audience came over to us after the program to inquire how such a young person could have such a commanding stage presence, he fully credited Speaker's League."
