Just left Atlanta, GA  enroute to LAX for a July 4th celebration and FINALLY getting my engine back in my airplane. The 2024 Skyway to Highway adventure started and wait till you SEE the places I’ll be sharing with you. This one’s going to blow it out of the ballpark  because part of the trip will be in my camper and part in my Airplane backcountry flying! So you will see the route BOTH from the ground in the air. Happy Father's Day to my beloved Father, Robert. He was my closest friend, biggest ally, greatest inspiration and deepest loss. He taught me that I could do ANYTHING I wanted to do, regardless of size or gender. As a tiny shy female with a passion for male dominated sports, those words were the greatest gift.

He was an amazing athlete and said "If you're going to take up a sport, compete it in because THAT is how to learn to play it well." And it's true. He was an entrepreneur and worked hard, but always made time to live life fully...another gift he instilled in me...and the results are obvious and apparent in my lifestyle. This summer is going to be the most epic year EVER and those of you who follow me will see that. Life is short...weeks and months now seem to magically pass like minutes. Do you agree?

My brother and I flew to Switzerland and took a gondola to the top to drop his ashes at his favorite ski resort. As we dropped them, the powerful sound of thunder echoed through the canyon...he knew and thanked us. In my Father's honor, I intend to pack as much fun, joy, laughter and kindness into every minute as possible.

So today, I've been listening to this song ... Luther Vandross - "Dance With My Father". Makes me cry...because I feel the same. I miss him so much... And I wish all the Father's out there the best of Father's day! Valerie Frome Veigel, Natalie Frome Hattaway, Melanie Frome Shepherd

My heart goes out to the brave men and women who died while defending our country and freedom. May we never forget their sacrifice and no matter how much of a hurry you're in... please... ALWAYS take a moment to thank our vets. A simple smile, nod and thank you goes a long way for many who are still suffering the scars of their experiences.

The world has lost one of the greatest aviators of all time...Dick Rutan. His smile and amazing sense of humor was amazing and his aviation accomplishments, both military and civilian, put him in a league of his own. I was fortune to join he and his family at their birthday parties and both Dick and Burt kept everyone on the edge of their seats with tales of flying adventures. My condolences go out to Kris and the family and God Bless Dick as he soars to new heights.
