🚨OCTOBER EVENTS🚨

📝The PTC will meet Thursday, October 15 after school in the Library. We will be discussing all our Fall events happening, like Movie Night, Trunk-Or-Treat, and November's Staff Luncheon!

👻Boo Grams are back this October!! Grams are just $1 each this year, and you can send as many as you'd like. Flyers will be going home this week! Payments are due with Boo Grams by October 27th and will be delivered to classrooms on the 29th!

🍿Join us for our first Family Movie Night of the year Friday, October 16th, featuring "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (PG)!! Entry is always FREE for all VP families. 🎃We are so excited to be bringing back our annual Trunk-Or-Treat for the FOURTH year in a row!! Join us immediately following dismissal on Friday, October 30th for a fun round of trick-or-treating on the VPE track. This year's Trunk-Or-Treat will feature a BEST DECORATED CAR CONTEST! We’re so excited to announce the 2nd Annual Vern Patrick Festival of Trees! 🎄❤️

Our students will be creating special ornaments for their tree during library specials, but we’d love your help bringing their themed tree to life!

We’re looking for donations of:

🍬Candy Cane Lane, Kinder:
Candy cane/peppermint themed ornaments and garland
A festive tree skirt

❤️Whoville/Grinch, 1st Grade:
Whoville-themed ornaments
A whimsical tree skirt

🧁Baking Spirits Bright, 2nd Grade:
Baking and cookie-themed ornaments
Gingerbread themed decor
A festive tree skirt and garland

❄️Winter Wonderland, 3rd Grade:
Snowflake and snow-themed ornaments
Winter and woodland decorations
Silver, white, blue, or icy-colored decor
A festive tree skirt

🐚Christmas on the Coast, 4th Grade:
Seashell and ocean-themed ornaments
Beach and coastal decorations
Nautical or seaside-inspired decor
A festive tree skirt

🦌Cozy Cabin Wonderland, 5th Grade:
Woodland animal ornaments
Pinecone, evergreen, and forest-inspired decorations
Rustic or nature-themed decor
Cozy winter accents
A festive tree skirt

The beautifully decorated trees will be on display during conference week, when bidding will begin! 🎄✨
And the best part? Proceeds will benefit the Vern Patrick PTC and Shepherd's House Ministries of Central Oregon, supporting both our school and our community. ❤️

For any Vern Patrick families interested in participating in our Chipotle Night next week, our Redmond Chipotle has been closing the lobby in the evening lately. Management says they will do their best to be open for us on Tuesday, but making a mobile order using the code NDXLCC3 might be the better option!! 🌮🌯
