The Alcott PTSA page serves our parents, students and education staff of Louisa May Alcott Elementary School in the Lake Washington School District.

The Alcott Elementary PTSA's mission is to support our students, their families, staff and the wider community to create a safe and healthy learning environment. Posted here are communications, events, scholastically-relevant information and a place to post relevant questions to your Alcott PTSA community. Our PTSA loves supporting our school library, and we are so excited that our librarian was able to bring author Stuart Gibbs, bestselling author of the wildly popular Spy School books, to Alcott!

Tickets to see him at the Bigfoot Book Festival are already sold out, but how cool is it that our students still get the chance to meet him and have a book signed?

Stuart Gibbs will be at Alcott on October 9th.

If you’d like your child to have a book signed, all books must be ordered through Brick & Mortar Books by tomorrow night, September 29th. Books will be delivered directly to the school so he has time to sign them.

🎪 THE ALCOTT BACK TO SCHOOL CARNIVAL IS TOMORROW! 🎪

Come one, come all! Join us Thursday, September 17 from 5:30–7:30 PM for Alcott Elementary’s Back to School Carnival!

Admission is FREE! Come hang out, grab dinner, play games, listen to music, and spend the evening with our Alcott community.

Want a little extra fun? $3 Carnival Bands will be available and include:
• Bounce house inflatables
• 1 fun treat

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Marymoor Park for our first annual Alcott PTSA Picnic & Playdate! 💙

The kids got to play, parents had a chance to connect, and it was such a fun way to kick off the school year together.

We loved seeing everyone and can’t wait to do it again next year!

A couple of September reminders for our Alcott families!

Our Alcott Park Playdate is September 7th at Marymoor Park Playground! Kinder families are invited to join us at 1:00 PM, and all Alcott families are welcome beginning at 2:00 PM. Bring a picnic, let the kids play, and come connect with other Alcott families before the year gets rolling!

Then on September 17th, it’s our Back to School Bash! We’re so excited, but we still need volunteers to help make the night happen.

Truly, we can’t do it without you. Even one shift helps!

Just a little PTSA reminder as we head into the school year!

You do not have to volunteer to be a PTSA member.
There are no volunteer hours required at all!!!

Of course, we would LOVE to have as little or as much of your time as you want to give, but membership itself comes with zero volunteer commitment.
Being a member gives you a voice and a vote, helps support our school, and comes with some great Washington State PTA member discounts too.

One of the benefits of PTSA membership is access to our enrichment programs! A current PTSA membership allows your family to register for the enrichment opportunities offered throughout the year.

Cheerio from Day 4 of Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! 🇬🇧

Today we traveled to England for a delightful Afternoon Tea complete with tasty treats, warm tea, and enough sweets to fuel an entire season of Bridgerton!

King Charles joined in on all the quite lovely conversations with our teachers and staff.
