Big news on campus! Huge congratulations to student Leila Young, who was cast as one of two Claras in ’s upcoming production of The Nutcracker! 🩰🎄

Out of nearly 200 young dancers auditioning for 142 roles, Leila earned a starring spot. Our Pre-DP Biology class hit the Sammamish River near 60 Acres Park for some hands-on place-based ecology. After exploring the Former Wayne Golf Course, they picked a spot closer to Willows to maximize field time.

Today's big highlight? Snapping photos, observing local ecosystems, and spotting river otters enjoying salmon!
