For Professora Jessica Xavier, creativity and foreign language instruction go hand in hand. Using Minecraft Education, her students are designing Olympic sports venues as part of a project‑based learning experience grounded in content, language, cognition, and collaboration.

The result is students experiencing language as a living communication tool, not just something to study.

This month, we celebrated the third anniversary of the Teacher’s Lounge, a supportive community of educators who use Minecraft Education in their classrooms.

In particular, we want to shout out the Minecraft Education Ambassadors, a global group within the Teacher’s Lounge who obtained certification in the Minecraft Education Teacher Academy on MS Learn.
