“Who can we play?” turned into something much bigger.

At Thornton College, students didn’t just want to learn computer science; they wanted to compete, collaborate, and connect. So, they built their own esports league using Minecraft Education.

What started with a single question quickly grew into a powerful, student-driven experience where learners:

🎮 Compete in build battles

🤝 Collaborate across schools

🌟 Build confidence and leadership skills

The impact? Participation in Computer Science more than tripled, and students who once hesitated are now leading the way.

With safe, school-controlled environments and inclusive gameplay, Minecraft Education makes it easy to create meaningful esports experiences for every learner.

Ready to help your students find their place, and their voice, in STEM?
