I short letter from one of my 2020 class graduates:
Ilya,
Having completed our Zoom-style final recital yesterday, I wanted to reach out to thank you for making the past 9 years - half my life - so great! You've been an invaluable teacher, mentor, and friend, and there are lessons you've taught me (many hardly related to violin playing) that I'll never forget. As you never fail to point out, I've grown a lot from that short, chubby 3rd grader who could barely hold up a violin. I'll make sure to keep up on violin at Brown in any way possible, and we should definitely keep in touch.
Best,
Sidharth
Feeling appreciated is the one I cherish as a violin teacher!
