Our performer: Tejus Krishnan!
Tejus Krishnan is a junior at Tesla STEM High School. A fan of art, music, writing, politics, photography, psychology and environmental science, Tejus appreciates being given the opportunity to demonstrate his interests at a TED event that is so close and accessible to his neighborhood and community. Tejus will be performing a piano solo of his own composition at TEDxRedmondHigh, based on many of the improvisational pieces he enjoys playing in his free time.

Our third speaker,
Guy Francis!
Guy-Francis is a captivating speaker with an uncommon and inspiring life story. He was born into poverty in Nyali, a small village in Gabon, Africa, and was raised by his mom and his uncle, a retired military policeman, after his father abandoned him before being born. As a high school dropout, he worked any labor jobs he could find, until one day, at the age of 20, a friend told him about opportunities in America. He was jailed in Paris, trying to get to London, where he eventually got a scholarship to study English as a Second Language.

Yoshi also started a campus chapter of Global Peace Youth, with which he took part in an international leadership and service program for a year.
