So many people don't know how much impact a few intentional hours can make-there are loads of decisions to make when digging through piles of papers but with me coaching every step, making it easy--well, my client's words were:
"Having you right there to help me through the decision process was invaluable! I would almost go as far as saying it was FUN to see the piles quickly going down. You took the fear and anxiety out of the picture".

I love hearing clients affirm they still use what I have taught them, when I'm finished organizing with them. The effect goes beyond me being in the room. π

I got this meditation card deck for my birthday last month, and it was fitting that the first time I pulled a card, it was relevant to my calling of setting up spaces with intention. π

Spring π± paper π decluttering πΈ tips!
It's tax season, so many of us are ready to close the books on 2025. So with that comes paper stuff that can easily get out of control. Don't stress - put away your 2025 stuff but right now is the perfect time to pull out the old paperwork that doesn't need to stick around. Besides the actual official tax returns, did you know you can most likely get rid of the tax substantiation documents that are older than the most recent 7 years?
---Disclaiming- I'm not a tax professional and this isn't meant to be a substitute for checking the IRS website for official guidelines or checking with your tax professional for specific advice to your situation.---
I know I'm tossing those receipts that I'm not using on my taxes this year.
And how many of us hang on to paper manuals for far too long? Hint- if you don't have the item/appliance/electronic equipment any longer, you've kept the manual too long- heh heh!
What paper are you tossing out to feel lighter this spring? βοΈ

NOTHING like a good decluttering session to boost the spirits and feel lighter. ππ±π

πusing stuff I already had, plus a couple new frames, I created this little corner that is both functional and decorative and that makes me smile. π This shoe rack was adding too much clutter to the front doorway as things were getting stuck onto the top of it and piled up. I removed it and put it in my bedroom to both store the less often used shoes, plus display decorations and memorabilia on the top. It solved multiple problems in my home!
Next time you organize a space, I encourage you to use stuff you already own that can be repurposed or used creatively to solve a problem! Let me know if you try this.

In a stressful time, one option is to push without pausing. I'm learning that a pause for breath, resting and ease, is absolutely even more necessary in stress. Here's to a 2026 where I continue to practice the pause. One question I'm asking myself is how can I organize my life in a way that supports my ability to pause?
-a handy tray to hold my divination tools
-a decluttered corner that is calming and intentional
-a yoga mat on the floor behind my desk
-adjustable lighting (that can twinkle)
-my favorite journals and pen where I can find them
-comfortable robe and slippers that make me feel like I'm in a spa
-daily face care products in a basket in my bathroom
-Time on my calendar for yoga or tai chi/qigong classes (the latter being new to me!)
Who's with me? Let's use organization as a tool for restorative self care. We deserve it, and also NEED it.
