HAP Organizing Solutions My life changed when my son (now age 8) was born. It was complete chaos before I realized that something had to change: I had to get organized.

Home Office + Paper organizing coach who loves inspiring, motivating, and guiding people to let go of overwhelming clutter to ultimately let their passions take up more space in their lives, thus feeling more free, lighter, and more lit-up. I became obsessed and quickly realized that it was a passion of mine. It was so refreshing to feel like I finally had things put together well enough that I wasn't constantly searching for things. Don't get me wrong, I'm not perfect. But I have learned that we can always strive for better, even if we have to give up the idea of "perfect". I want to help you get to that place of feeling at peace with your possessions, even when you have so much going on all the time. 10 years ago, I got my own home and paperwork in order, and it changed my life in all the ways. I was super motivated to share what i had learned with others. And what I didn't expect is that my motivation to keep going was so much deeper than I even realized. I didn't realize that uncovering the deep root of the clutter issues in myself and my clients, made a RIPPLE effect that continues to pay dividends every single day, in how we show up in our lives and for the people we care about.

Organizing is self-care.

And we can stop letting our clutter take up more space than our passions. Instead we can embrace harmony between self-care and being productive on what matters most to us.

I can't believe it's been 9 years since my first ever workshop attendees entrusted me with providing some paper organizing wisdom and support!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on the first 9 years of business, and here's to the next 9!

By the way, 9 is so important to me for a bunch of reasons, not the least being it's my enneagram personality type. 9️⃣

That's why I was so eager to celebrate my 9th biz anniversary with my friends/networking support colleagues last week. ❤️

Hey there! 👋 It's about a decade in my business and I'm always evolving, so my bio and the way I talk about my why, my passion and what I do, are ALWAYS changing!

🐚 Since I'm coming out of my shell more and I don't often focus on myself when I show up and serve, here is a rundown of ME!

Silly, cute, earnest, funny, shy, gentle, encouraging, a good listener, and quietly powerful, this is Holly.

--no matter what my bio happens to say at the time, I am a professional problem solver, always helping people to think out of the box, get unstuck and take actions even if they are just experimental at first. My challenge is doing the same for myself, as I'm a recovering perfectionist too!

-- I do this as a side-hustle, so that I can retire early and run my business full time! I've been full time in a career at one company in financial services for the last 17 years, serving on various teams, functions and projects. While that has made a lot of twists and turns in my life, I'm happy where I am and look to continue for several more years. After all, my professional problem solving continues while I'm in my home office whether I'm logged into my work computer or business computer.

-- although I have a very analytical brain and background (I majored in mathematics), I love music, nature, comedy and creativity. When I'm not working, I'm spending time in/on one of those!

-- In my growth arc this past decade, I've learned so much about myself and my natural gifts, that I'm more excited than ever about what's to come...now that I've made huge strides in UNlearning my unhelpful and unhealthy patterns that kept me small and stuck.

-- I have lived the stress, uncertainty, anxiety and lack of control that feeling disorganized brings. We all have clutter in our lives, but slowly and surely, we can clear undesired things out and spend more time and energy on what matters to us.

That's basically a wrap on summer and one of my favorite seasons is almost here! Fall 🍁 / Autumn 🍂 is the season for letting go of what doesn't serve us or help us move forward. It's the season of decluttering and clearing out the bad energy. It's the season of slowing down.

I do feel it's also, paradoxically, the season for getting a new planner and ramping back up productivity. So how can that be?

I think the productivity can naturally come when you work on clearing out what doesn't matter. Because that's what matters right? Working on things that matter?

Do yourself a favor and start that process of shedding that perfectionism, at least in the organizing process. 😍

Done is better than perfect.

Imperfect action is better than being stuck not moving forward because you're waiting for the perfect time, the perfect setup, the perfect piece of furniture.

Be brave and take the littlest step forward...today. 💗

And if you want someone to hold you accountable to that, no better time to reach out to me, your organizer friend and guide.

😎 I'm so grateful for the paper organizing party 🎉 attendees and everyone who helped make it a successful summer series!

My helper heart 💜 was beaming as I heard all of the wins/a-ha moments that emerged:

A repurposed magazine holder

Found gift cards and money

A new system for taking action (📋)

Found an important paper to take action on

A curated collection of memorabilia/keepsakes

Embracing simplicity in the systems (only 5 categories)

Newfound confidence to tackle papers

A sense of knowing they're not alone because others had the same questions/struggles

A refreshing mindset shift from perfectionistic to "good enough" organizing (chef's kiss)

I witnessed people going from frazzled and anxious about their paper, to relaxed and having fun, knowing that they've got it under control! I witnessed them each freely sharing their own ideas and expertise 💡 with the other attendees.

I'm so excited that these folks went through this journey with me, and now they are walking confidently forward knowing how to make decisions on their papers and maintain a system going forward.

We don't know what amazing things they will do with a less cluttered brain and life-- but I know, it will be impactful and ripple out further than just their desks 🎉🎉🎉✨🥰
