YWCA Early Learning Center YWCA Early Learning Center Early Head Start/Head Start program offers full-time care to children in Parent communication and involvement is strongly encouraged.

The YWCA Family Village Early Learning Center, ELC Early Head Start, and ELC Head Start program is a full-time child care designed to meet the needs of young children ages 2 months through 6. We see the families as their child's first, most important and life-long teachers. We strive to take that motto into every aspect of our program. The Center's goal is to provide a safe, balanced program that emphasizes a holistic and strength based approach. Since we see every child as having a unique set of strengths and abilities, we individualize in areas including social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. We promote cultural diversity and incorporate culturally inclusive materials and activities as well as encourage home language retention. We practice a relationship-based philosophy that promotes consistency and continuity of teachers for all children. we pride ourselves on the ability to have low adult-to-child ratios. Our educated, experienced, professional teachers help children develop confidence, self-esteem, and self-help skills.

It's Teacher Appreciation Week at our YWCA!! Our teachers put in so much love and dedication to caring for the children and making sure they get everything they need to become kind and successful adults, it's time to give back!! Please take a moment to sit at home with your child and create a card for your teacher! It is a wonderful opportunity for you to have some one on one with your child, but also teach them about appreciation and expressing it! Let's show our teachers how much we LOVE THEM 🥰😍💌💞💖
