Idylwood Park is a hidden gem located in Redmond, WA. This park is the only free beach access point on Lake Sammamish, featuring a neighborhood vibe that is packed with features perfect for small, adventurous feet.💚

🏖️ Shallow Swimming Area: The sandy beach has a roped-off swimming area with a shallow entry, perfect for little splashers and building sandcastles. (Note: NO lifeguards on duty)

🛝 Park & Playground: A fantastic children's play structure sits right alongside massive, open grassy lawns that are perfect for toddler-friendly games or spreading out a picnic blanket.

🚿 Parent-Friendly Amenities: On-site restrooms, changing rooms, and outdoor rinsing showers make it incredibly easy to wash off the sand before heading home.

🦆 Mini Nature & Boat Watching: A short, flat 0.5-mile trail loops through the park, and a wooden pier lets toddlers watch kayaks, paddleboards, and ducks on the water.
