As we begin a new school year, we invite you to get to know our Elementary Principal, Mrs. Diane Hannay.
With 35 years of experience in Christian education and 16 years as a valued member of the CCS community, Mrs. Hannay brings a deep love for students, a passion for partnering with families, and a heart for Christ-centered education. Her experience, steady leadership, and commitment to academic excellence have prepared her well to lead our elementary program.
As Mrs. Hannay shares in her video, she believes the best moments in education happen when schools and families work together, laugh together, and pray together, always keeping Christ at the center of everything we do.

What an incredible weekend for Central Christian School student Hunter!
Competing with his club swim team at the Oregon 13 & Over Long Course Swimming Championships, Hunter dominated the 13-year-old division by winning all six of his individual events:
🥇 200 Freestyle
🥇 200 Individual Medley
🥇 200 Backstroke
🥇 200 Breaststroke
🥇 100 Freestyle
🥇 100 Breaststroke
Along the way, he recorded personal best times in every event, earned multiple Senior Sectionals qualifying times, and was named the High Point Boy of the championship meet.
Even more impressive? The video below is Hunter's 12th swim of the weekend, after three full days of preliminary and finals sessions. He finished the meet with an outstanding performance in the 100 Freestyle!
While CCS doesn't offer a swim program, we love celebrating the accomplishments of our students both on and off campus. We are so proud of Hunter's dedication, perseverance, and the way he pursues excellence in everything he does.

What an incredible honor for the McCaw family!
The McCaw family, whose children attend Central Christian School, was recognized on the field at Autzen Stadium during the Savannah Bananas game as a Bananas Foster Family (BFF) for their faithful commitment to fostering children and making a lasting difference in the lives of young people. Bananas Foster honors families across the country who are serving the foster care community and inspiring others to do the same.
We are so grateful for the way the McCaw family lives out God’s love through hospitality, compassion, and service. Their willingness to open their home and hearts is a beautiful example of what it means to care for others.

What a season for our CCS girls flag football team! 🏈💜
After finishing 4th in Oregon, the Tigers traveled to Seattle for the Best of the Northwest tournament and finished 5th overall out of the top 8 teams from Oregon and Washington!
They had an unforgettable experience competing at the Seattle Seahawks training facility, seeing the Super Bowl trophy up close, meeting some of the best teams in Washington, and getting shirts signed by a Seahawks player.
From league champions to one of the top teams in the Northwest, these girls represented CCS with heart, toughness, and character all season long. What an incredible year for Tiger flag football!

Senior Jase J. was selected to compete in the 1A East/West Senior All-Star Games this weekend in Bend! Representing some of the top athletes from across Oregon, every player invited earned First Team All-League honors during the season.
Congratulations, Jase, on an outstanding athletic career at CCS. We are proud of the way you’ve represented the Tigers both on and off the court!

Congratulations to junior Ben T. on winning the Bend Bulletin Athlete of the Year for boys volleyball. Ben was 1st team All League, led the league in assists, and played an instrumental role in the Tigers 2nd place finish at the State Championships. Congratulations Ben!
