Artemis II liftoff shows our students that the ideas we are learning about in our physics classes — from gravitational pull to momentum and energy transfer — are the real forces behind deep space exploration. Over 10 days, the crew will test Orion’s life‑support systems, perform a high‑Earth orbit and translunar injection burn, and complete a lunar flyby to validate navigation and re‑entry at lunar‑return speeds. We hope this mission inspires our students to see the power of physics and motivates them to dive even deeper into what we’re learning! (Watch the full video - link in the comments.)
