🦒 Meet Jerry the Giraffe 💛

We created this social story to help children understand something really important…
sometimes “big behaviors” aren’t about being naughty — they’re about unmet needs.

Hungry. Tired. Overwhelmed. Needing to go potty.

When little bodies don’t feel right, it can make it really hard to make good choices.

Social stories help children:
✨ Understand what their body is feeling
✨ Learn what to do instead of hitting or yelling
✨ Build independence and confidence
✨ Feel safe, supported, and understood

At Growing Giraffes Preschool, we focus on teaching skills ,not just correcting behavior.
Because every child deserves tools that actually help them succeed 💛

“I think your body is trying to tell you something… are you hungry or tired?”
