From Britt Clarke post...

Happy update on Cash! He was adopted by his foster family.
Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League - WAMAL and NW Canine Coalition invited the group I volunteer with Adopt me. Pet portraits by Creating Art Studio to meet Cash and his new family. NWCC filmed a promo on our group and WAMAL that will air on their media channels and possibly in a King5 news segment.
Really enjoyed meeting everyone and learning more about their groups.
Cash was spotted in a kill shelter in California, WAMAL brought him to their Washington state shelter through a convey of 4 volunteer drivers.
His new owner loves the breed and came to the shelter offering to foster and work with any of their dogs who might otherwise be difficult to place. He had lost all of his dogs and cats to old age over the previous year as he had been taking in senior animals who were having a hard time finding homes. Really nice guy, and him and Cash are having a great time together.
Heartwarming day all around!

All portraits together! Doesn't it look amazing? Artists really rock!
It is fantastic what we have accomplished in such a short period of time. Portraits are going to be on hold in CreatingArtStudios until pets get adopted.
There are 3 portraits -Max, Miller and Lola - that have already being delivered as the adoption process is in progress.
We really appreciate your support for this cause, all for these pets!

Fist Delivery with love to Homeward Pet Adoption Center
❤️🐕🐾
This Message is from the Rescue....
On Saturday, Max went into foster-to-adopt, which means they are fostering him to make sure they are comfortable with his behavior quirks before making the adoption final. So fingers crossed it works out!
Lola currently has someone interested in adopting her, and we are trying to set up meetings for her and her potential adopter.
And Miller also went foster-to-adopt! So fingers crossed on that one as well!

Max is an 11-month-old Husky that found his way to us after being bounced around several homes. He has resource guarding behavior, so he protects things he thinks are high value - whether that's toys, food, his leash, etc. He's making great progress working on that behavior at our shelter, but still is looking for a very experienced owner who has dealt with this type of behavior before. Max is a total adventure buddy - he loves to explore the world around him, go for car rides, hikes, runs, and loves to play!

Pet Name: Miller

Miller is at Homeward Pet Adoption Center Homeward Pet Adoption Center
He is just a giant puppy! He's 3 years old, but has the enthusiasm and energy of a kid. Miller came to us originally about a year ago, when he was too much energy for his previous owners. He was adopted out but came back about 10 months later due to separation anxiety. He doesn't like to be without his person and panics when left alone. He had learned how to escape any type of crate, and even windows and doors, and was getting loose outside. So he is looking for an owner that is home most of the time so he doesn't have to get lonely. Miller is super smart and very playful! He loves toys and going for hikes and runs.

Lola
Painted and donated by Artist: Paula Paris

This wonderful 4-year-old gal is truly special. She lived in two different homes before arriving to us, and in both she was kept outside without much human interaction. She is now in a wonderful foster home, but is very nervous of people. She is slowly learning to trust humans. She loves other dogs and finds comfort in them. She loves to go for walks and roll around in the grass!
