When we opened our school in 2020, We received our school patches to put on our uniforms. Mrs P gifted me a sewing kit to sew it on my uniform so that I could have it on for our Winter Retreat in Lake Havasu.
I'll never forget that feeling,before the world shut down, the simple peace of new beginnings. I am so grateful.

These are the moments that make all of the hard work of tournament worth it!
This fine young man braved his fear, rose up to compete in his 8 point blocks!
We only have one tournament a year, as a celebration of our Art and an opportunity to show our progress from last year, rather than a consistent flow of competition with eachother. The ribbons say competitor, not participant for a reason. We are ALL working on being better today than yesterday.
