๐ณ Welcome to Middle School! ๐ณ
One of our favorite Bear Creek traditions continued after the Lower School Honors Assembly when our grade 4 studentsโthe Class of 2034โplanted a flowering dogwood on campus to mark their move up to Middle School.
After each student took turns placing soil around their tree, the grade 4 parents celebrated their new Middle Schoolers with a tunnel and high-fives! ๐

I served as Associated Student Body Spirit Committee Head sophomore year, Vice-President my junior year, and President senior year. I also host The Grizzly Den podcast and have been a four-year varsity basketball player.
๐ Favorite Memory:
A favorite memory is beating Kings at their gym in the Conference Championship, giving us the #4 seed in the State tournament.
๐จโ๐ซ An Inspiring Bear Creek Teacher:
Mr. Norris challenged me to think outside of the box and never settle for what I felt comfortable with in my writing. His humor and teaching balance were a huge highlight of my high school experience, and I will definitely miss his class.
๐ซ Plans for the Future:
I plan to study strategic management at Notre Dame.

We ๐ our volunteers!!!
Our community is blessed every single day by the support of incredible and faithful volunteers, from JanTerm teachers to Boosters to classroom volunteers to your PTF and everyone in between. As the year winds down, we want everyone who donated their time and talents to know we appreciate them and could not do what we do without their partnership!

Kindergartners in Mrs. Summerson's class were witnesses to new life this afternoon when their chicks began hatching! ๐ฃ The class has been waiting eagerly for the hatching to begin, and the first chick appeared at around 11:30 a.m.
After about 24 hours, the chicks will be moved to a larger enclosure under a heat lamp, where students will continue watching them grow!
