Last week, we celebrated more than 870 students who have reached an important milestone in their educational journey. Each promotion represents months of hard work, perseverance, growth, and achievement, and we couldn't be prouder of all they have accomplished! Many of our scholars were recognized for earning prestigious honors, including Sage Serves certificates and Sage Oak core value recognitions. These achievements reflect not only academic success but also a commitment to service, leadership, and personal growth. 🏆🌱

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of an amazing 2025–2026 school year! 🎉☀️ Our Virtual Learning Academy and Personalized Learning Academy families wrapped up the year with their own special end-of-year socials, filled with bubbles, hula hoops, parachute games, seed planting, and creative crafts to bring with them into the summer season!

As we reflect on this school year, we’re grateful for the growth, achievements, and memories shared by our students, families, and staff. At Sage Oak, we are proud to foster creativity, innovation, and perseverance in our students, encouraging them to pursue their passions and share their unique talents with the world. One student doing just that is Virtual Learning Academy 3rd grader Samuel B., who earned second place out of more than 45,000 submissions in the 2026 Play Blooket Design Contest for his original design, Pinalele.

In addition to this outstanding achievement, Samuel was recognized as one of only eight honorable mentions whose designs were selected to be professionally brought to life by Blooket artists, as featured in this photo. We are incredibly proud of Samuel’s creativity, dedication, and accomplishment, and we congratulate him on this remarkable recognition! 💙👏

As the school year winds down, the celebration is just getting started for our Sage Oak Seniors, the Class of 2026! 🎓✨ Our seniors had one last send off before graduation day at an unforgettable Disney Grad Night at the Happiest Place on Earth — Disneyland! From exclusive after-hours park access and thrilling rides to spectacular entertainment created just for graduating seniors, it was the ultimate high school send-off filled with magic, laughter, and memories to last a lifetime. 🎢🏰

It was a night to reflect on their achievements, make memories with friends, and soak in every magical moment before embarking on the next big adventure ahead. Congratulations, Class of 2026 — your future is bright, and the magic is only beginning! 💙✨

This scholarship program honors graduating seniors who embody our S.A.G.E. values of Service, Accountability, Growth Mindset, and Excellence as they prepare for life beyond high school. As well as the Superintendent's Award, which recognizes students whose leadership, integrity, and actions reflect the very best of Sage Oak. Each of these scholarship winners leads with character, makes decisions rooted in our values, pursues personal growth, and creates a meaningful impact that extends beyond themselves and their classwork.

We are excited to share some wonderful news with our Sage Oak students and families — Sage Oak Charter Schools has been recognized as a Top Workplace for Education by Energage! 🎉🍎 Top Workplaces is a research-backed, employee-driven national recognition program that uses confidential survey feedback to identify organizations with strong workplace cultures.

Earlier this year, Sage Oak staff participated in the national Top Workplaces survey with a remarkable 75.2% response rate and 893 employee comments. The results reflected the incredible culture our educators and staff create every day, with 95% of employees sharing that Sage Oak operates by strong values and a 91% favorable workplace experience score — outperforming comparable organizations by 13%. 💙

This recognition is a direct reflection of the passion, dedication, and collaboration of our amazing team. 🔬⚡ Students explored the science behind earthquakes at the Caltech Seismological Laboratory! Our 2nd–12th grade students got a behind-the-scenes look at how scientists track earthquakes in real time, study seismic activity, and develop early warning systems. High school students even watched researchers verify live earthquakes from networks around the world! 🌎 From hands-on learning to exploring future careers in science and technology, this STEM experience was truly unforgettable!
