The celebration begins as we welcome students back for the 2026–27 school year in just a few weeks, and we’ll be marking this milestone throughout the year with special moments and gatherings.

This October, we’ll host our first community and alumni celebration, MIR Fest, and we can’t wait to welcome back the many generations of students, families, and friends who have been part of the MIR story.

Introducing MIR Through the Years: A Throwback Thursday Series ✨

For 50 years, Montessori in Redlands has been filled with moments of curiosity, discovery, and joy. To celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we’re looking back at the memories, milestones, and everyday moments that have made MIR what it is today.

Our first look back shows that some moments are timeless. In 1993 and again in 2025, our Toddlers gathered to watch a trash truck arrive on campus with the same excitement and curiosity. While our campus has grown and generations of students have come and gone, the simple joy of discovering the world around them remains unchanged.

Summer at MIR blends enriched experiences such as water play, themed arts and crafts, and special in-house presentations, with ongoing Montessori classroom learning. This reinforces learning through movement, exploration, and hands-on activities in a consistent and familiar environment.
