The 8th Grade Citizenship Award is the highest honor presented to a promoting 8th grade student and reflects far more than academic success alone.

This award recognizes a student who consistently demonstrates integrity, humility, responsibility, and leadership in every arena of school life.

Whether in the classroom, through extracurricular involvement, in relationships with peers and staff, or in the way they serve others and live out their faith, this student leaves a lasting impact on the community around them.

The recipient of this award models what it means to lead with character - showing diligence in their work, compassion toward others, courage in their convictions, and a genuine commitment to making our school a better place. 🎓 Ava Marvin 🎓 For 13 years, Ava has been part of the Redlands Christian and Arrowhead Christian community, growing through each stage of her school journey. One of her favorite memories is Freshman Intersession—a highlight filled with learning, connection, and new experiences.

Throughout her time at ACA, Ava has been involved in Podcast Club, Friends Furever, and Daisychain, contributing to community, creativity, and student life in meaningful ways.
As she heads to the University of Alabama, we are excited for the next chapter ahead and all the opportunities waiting for her. Congratulations, Ava! We are so proud of you! 🎉

🎓 Kyleigh Meketarian 🎓 During her 5 years at Redlands Christian School and Arrowhead Christian Academy, Kyleigh created lasting friendships and unforgettable memories through academics, athletics, and campus involvement. One of her favorite memories was spending time with friends in her sophomore year AP World History class.

Kyleigh stayed involved through Varsity Girls Soccer, Hiking Club, Fashion Club, Theater, and Color Guard, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to every activity. She especially enjoyed debate class with Mr. Sparks, whose class became one of her favorite parts of high school.

This fall, Kyleigh plans to attend Crafton Hills College to major in Political Science as she begins an exciting new chapter. We’re excited to see all that lies ahead for her!

🎓 Michelle Wang 🎓 During her 5 years at Redlands Christian School and Arrowhead Christian Academy, Michelle built lasting friendships and created unforgettable memories through service, athletics, and involvement across campus. Some of her favorite experiences were the Dominican Republic Mission Trip during her junior year and assisting with the Boys Volleyball Team — opportunities that made her high school journey especially meaningful.

Michelle stayed involved through Global Vision Leadership, volleyball, girls fellowship, and Jazz Band. She especially enjoyed Anatomy and Physiology and her favorite teacher was Mr. T.
This fall, Michelle will attend La Sierra University to study Biology as she begins an exciting new chapter. We’re excited to see all she accomplishes ahead!

🎓 Riley Ramos 🎓 After 14 years at Redlands Christian Schools and Arrowhead Christian Academy, Riley leaves behind countless memories, friendships, and experiences that made his time at school unforgettable. One of his favorite memories was celebrating football victories with teammates on the bus ride home — moments filled with excitement, laughter, and team spirit.
Riley played Varsity Football for four years and enjoyed science classes with Mr. Kear throughout high school.

This fall, Riley plans to attend Crafton Hills College to study science as he prepares for a future career in the medical field. Congratulations to Riley on all of his success at Redlands Christian and ACA — we can’t wait to see what’s ahead for him!

🎓 Abigail Vargas 🎓 During her 3 years at Arrowhead Christian Academy, Abigail created meaningful friendships, unforgettable memories, and opportunities to express her creativity. Her favorite memory was traveling to Guatemala for Intersession this year, where she had so much fun and made memories with people she’ll never forget.

Abigail was involved in Daisy Chain and especially enjoyed classes where she could use her creativity through writing speeches, drawing, and creating portfolios. She is thankful for Mr. Sparks, whose encouragement and support made speech class both enjoyable and impactful throughout her high school journey.

After graduation, Abigail plans to major in Child Behavioral Health as she works toward becoming a Child Psychologist. We’re excited to see all she accomplishes in this next chapter!

🎓 Grant Miller 🎓 Over the past 10 years at Redlands Christian Schools and Arrowhead Christian Academy, Grant built lasting friendships and made memories that will stay with him long after graduation. Whether spending time with friends, leading Hiking Club this year, or competing on the basketball court after recovering from a torn ACL and meniscus, Grant showed resilience and determination throughout high school.

Grant participated in Varsity Basketball and spent two years in Hiking Club, serving as leader during his senior year. He also especially enjoyed Physics and Environmental Science classes.
After graduation, Grant plans to dive into the workforce and begin the next chapter of his journey. We’re excited to see all that lies ahead for him!
