We are excited to share that Chess Wizards will be returning to Jefferson Elementary this fall! We have loved seeing our students enjoy the chess experience, build confidence, challenge themselves, and have fun while learning new skills. We are excited to continue offering this opportunity to our Jefferson Eagles! 🦅❤️

♟️ Chess Wizards Classes

Open to Grades K–5
Tuesdays, 3:45–4:45 PM
9 classes
Dates: September 29, October 6, 13, 20 & 27; November 10, 17 & 24; December 1
No class: November 2
Cost: $180
Location: Jefferson Elementary
Seats are limited!
Chess Wizards welcomes all experience levels. Students who are new to chess will learn the basics and begin playing right away, while experienced players can continue developing their strategy and creativity. The program includes chess lessons, group activities, and exciting opportunities to practice their skills.

From Ms Alyssa 🚒 A HUGE THANK YOU! 🚒❤️

I had the pleasure of dropping off the wonderful cards and treats from our Jefferson families to our Redford Township firefighters from the South End station, who helped make Field Day so special with their awesome water truck!

They were incredibly appreciative and touched by your kindness. The firefighters shared how much they enjoyed spending time with our students and how much the thoughtful notes and goodies meant to them.

Thank you to all of our Jefferson families for helping us show our gratitude. Your generosity helped make an already memorable Field Day even more meaningful. 💙

We are so lucky to have such amazing community partners—and such amazing families! 😊
