Cross Country permission slips for Kinder-5th (No TK) will be available on Monday, 8/24. They are due no later than Friday, 8/28.

We are finalizing our practice schedule. What we know is there will be 4 total meets. 1 of those will be held at Shasta Meadows.

Dates are:
9/17 @ Mistletoe
9/24 @ Boulder Creek
10/1 @ Shasta Meadows
10/8 @ Boulder Creek

All runners are required to be at the school and checked in with their coach by 2:45 to run.

The permission slips, the back page of the sports packet and $2.00 for the cost of the ribbon must be returned by 3:00pm on Friday 8:28.

Practices will most likely be held around 2:15 on days that are TBD. We should have that info shortly and will keep you all posted!

Wow! Parents, you showed up this weekend! There was such an amazing response to our request to complete forms through facebook messages and phone calls, Shasta Meadows is the 4th highest school to have forms completed!

Who needs to complete the General Forms ?

-> If you enrolled your child at SM between Jan 2026 and August 1st 2026. You would have completed the Enrollment forms only. Now, their annual forms are due which are the General Forms link.

-> If you had a student at SM last year, you need to complete your annual forms under the General Forms link. (most of these are pre-populated just review and submit!)

**If you registered your student after 8/1, this would have been asked of you at the time of registration, but we ask that you login to your Parent Portal and just double check that these have been completed!!

We are making progress on our total number of students who have their beginning of the year forms completed, but we have more than half to go.

Did you know that the Educational Benefits form helps us to provide FREE breakfast and lunch to everyone in the school? Without this verification form, we risk losing that funding.

Also, our Chromebook agreement allows your student to have access to the tools they need in the classroom to learn. This provides them with the Chromebook access.

Our Library form allows students to check out books. Without it, they are unable to check out books when they go to the Library with their class.

Please help us get all of the forms completed by logging into your Parent Portal and taking just a few minutes to complete each form under the General forms. . Several of the forms will even autofill you will just verify the information and date and submit!!

Beginning of the Year Forms

Once again our district requires families to have ALL school forms completed by the first day of school. There are 7-8 school forms such as the emergency card, library form, use of technology (which allows your child to use a Chromebook and the internet at school), as well as optional forms for those who plan to let their child bring a smart watch or a phone to school. These are found under the GENERAL forms tab. One of the most important forms is the Universal Benefits Form which will help all families continue to receive FREE meals.

Shasta Meadows families always do a great job with this, and to encourage you to help us get 100% of our forms completed, we will draw one family name for a Mountain Mike's Pizza Dinner from those who have completed all of their forms by 8/12, the first day of school.

📢 Parent Portals are now OPEN!

With the first day of school just 8 days away, now is the time to complete your 2026–2027 Beginning of Year Forms.

✅ Log in at eesd.powerschool.com
✅ Click the Forms tab on the left
✅ Complete all pages of the 2026–2027 Annual Required Forms Packet
✅ If you have multiple students, be sure to switch between each child's name in the blue bar at the top and complete the forms for each one.

Please complete your forms before the start to the school year. If you have any questions, your school office is happy to help. We can't wait to welcome everyone back! 💚

Come and meet the teacher at our TK/Kinder Round-Up!

Where: Shasta Meadows Elementary
When: Friday, August 7th
What Time: Drop in between 11:30am-1:00pm

Friday, August 7th our TK and Kindergarten classrooms will be open, and teachers will be here to meet you. Your PowerSchool Parent Portal will not show who your child's teacher is until Friday morning at 8 a.m. If you cannot access the portal in the morning, it's no problem- we will have lists outside each classroom with first names and last initials. Additionally, Mrs. Gamsby, our Student Services Clerk and I, Mrs. Gold, will be in the area with printed lists for helping families locate their classroom.

The best way to enter the campus for this event is to park in the north parking lot where our large gymnasium is and enter through the gate near the Kindergarten playground.
Round up is from 11:30 am-1:00 pm during which you can stay for as short a time or as long as you would like. Families typically stay about 30 - 40 minutes which includes time for you to hang out on the playground with your child. Again, the goal is to have your child see their classroom, meet their teacher, and begin to get comfortable with their surroundings. This is always a great time for all, and we can't wait to see you!
