🎉 The wait is over — the Excel Academy Student Store is OFFICIALLY OPEN today! 🛒✨

Our students have been hard at work earning their Excel Bucks by demonstrating top-tier social skills, following PBIS expectations, and getting “caught being good” all across campus. Today, all that positive behavior paid off!

Students stopped by to spend their hard-earned cash on awesome items, including:

🎉 🥳 100% of our classrooms have officially signed and launched their Social Contracts! 🤝✨ 🙌

Through the Capturing Kids’ Hearts process, every single student 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 helped answer key questions to design their classroom culture:

💙 How do we want to be treated by our teacher?
🤝 How do we want to be treated by each other?
👩‍🏫 How does our teacher want to be treated?
🕊️ How will we handle conflict when it happens?

A Social Contract isn’t just a poster on the wall 📜—it’s a living, self-managing agreement built by the group, for the group, creating a safe, respectful, and empowering space to learn! 🌟🏫

And it’s not just the kids—our staff even created their own Social Contract for all our team meetings this year! 👥💼 Highlighting empathy, respect, and teamwork at every level ensures our entire school community moves forward as one! ❤️‍🔥

🎉 Huge news for the Excel Academy community! Excel Academy has officially been awarded 2026 California PBIS Bronze Recognition by CA PBIS and the CA PBIS Recognition Committee! 🥉✨

This statewide honor reflects our team’s dedicated commitment to implementing PBIS with fidelity and creating positive social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes for all of our students.

What is PBIS? Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based framework that helps schools build a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment. Instead of just reacting to misbehavior, PBIS proactively teaches, models, and acknowledges positive behaviors—helping every student thrive academically and socially.

Back to School Night was a huge success at Excel Academy! 🚌💻🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us! We were thrilled to have our amazing Transportation Team present—complete with a school bus and driver—as well as our IT Department, who helped families get fully set up on the Aeries Parent Portal.

Our students and families rocked it through all of our stations to enter our special raffle! 🎟️✨

What an UNFORGETTABLE first day back at Excel Academy! 🥳✨

Our Phoenixes brought the heat today, proving that we are truly for the new school year! Campus was buzzing with excitement, especially having our incredible SCOE team on site—including our Superintendent, maintenance crew, and communications team—alongside our amazing families to cheer on our students!
