👀 SNEAK PEEK: Inside the Excel Academy Student Store! 🎒✨

Ever wonder what our students are spending their hard-earned Excel Bucks on?

Through our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program, students earn Excel Bucks every single day by demonstrating positive behaviors and showing up as their best selves. But here’s the cool part: the rewards aren't one-size-fits-all!

At the start of the school year, every student filled out an individual survey called "A Few of My Favorite Things." We used their answers to stock personalized incentive items in our store—meaning there are custom items available that only specific students can purchase! 🎁🎉

check out some of our amazing students shopping today and grabbing their favorite personalized rewards! We are so proud of their hard work and positive choices. 👏💙

Cozy vibes + big focus in Room 1! 🛋️✨

While their classroom got a little maintenance love, our Room 1 crew adapted like total pros and took over the sensory room for the last two days!

Check them out powering through their 15-minute Ignite Reading tutoring sessions from the comfort of beanbag chairs. Talk about making the most of a temporary space! 📚⚡️

Got Pokémon on the brain this Friday?

⚡️ Every Friday, Excel Academy’s Pokémon Trading Club is in full swing—and it’s about way more than just collecting cool cards!

Mr. Nice and Mr. Shaq set clear expectations for our traders:
🤝 Finish strong: Always seal the deal with a handshake.
⏳ Patience first: If someone is already talking trade, wait your turn before jumping in.
🗣️ Communication: Introduce yourself and speak up respectfully.

As we move into October, our school character trait is Responsibility—and this club is the perfect training ground! Students learn to care for their own card collections, navigate fair trades, and handle disagreements in a safe, supportive space.

It’s hands-on social skills in action, helping our students grow as learners and as people. Happy trading! 🏆✨

Blow-painting brilliance! 🎨💨

The talented artists in Room 1 created some incredible artwork today for our Magnolia building hallway! Using a super cool paint-blowing technique, they gave their characters some wild, colorful, and unique hair creations.
Next time you’re walking through the Magnolia building, make sure to slow down and check out their masterpiece! 🖼️✨
