Today was a bittersweet day at Cypress. From celebrating our kindergarten students as they take their first big step forward, to honoring our 5th graders as they prepare for middle school, we are filled with both pride and sadness. A special congratulations goes out to our Cypress Lifers—students who have spent all six of their elementary years with us. We have watched them learn, grow, and become incredible young leaders. While it’s hard to say goodbye, we know they are ready for their next adventure and will always be a part of the Cypress family.

The Cypress end-of-the-year BBQ was a great way to celebrate another successful school year together. Mr. Selke took charge of the grill while staff members shared a delicious potluck-style meal filled with their favorite dishes. It was a wonderful afternoon of laughter, good food, and appreciation for all the hard work and teamwork that made this year so special.

As we say goodbye to two incredible teachers and our wonderful principal, we want you to know how much you have meant to the Cypress School family. Your kindness, dedication, and positive impact have helped our students learn, grow, and succeed. While we will miss seeing you each day, we are excited for the new adventures ahead of you. Thank you for everything you have done for Cypress—you will always be a special part of our school family.

Math was extra exciting today as students participated in a glow party while practicing their math skills! The room lit up with neon colors and glowing activities, making learning both fun and engaging. Students worked hard solving problems, playing math games, and showing off their math knowledge in a unique and memorable way. Learning has never glowed so bright!

Cypress students had a blast during our annual Fun in the Sun Day! The day was filled with exciting water games, relay races, popcorn, snow cones, and many other fun activities. Laughter and smiles could be seen everywhere as students enjoyed celebrating the end of the school year with their friends. It was a fantastic day full of fun, teamwork, and unforgettable memories!

Meeting 100% of your AR goal definitely pays off! Students who reached their reading goal earned the exciting opportunity to pie Principal Mr. Selke. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and whipped cream as students celebrated their hard work and dedication to reading. What a fun way to recognize an amazing achievement!
