From researching important healthcare topics to confidently presenting in front of their peers, they are building the communication and critical thinking skills that every great nurse needs.

These presentations are more than just assignments—they’re opportunities to grow, collaborate, and prepare for real-world patient care.

The 3rd Semester Vocational Nursing students at IOT Redding had the incredible opportunity to visit REACH Air Medical Services! 🚁❤️

Students got an up-close look at how emergency medical care is delivered in the air, toured the aircraft, and learned about the specialized equipment, teamwork, and critical decision-making involved in flight medicine.

Experiences like this give our students a deeper understanding of the many career paths available in healthcare while connecting what they learn in the classroom to real-world patient care.

☀️🍉 Summer is officially here, and we kicked it off the best way we know how at IOT Redding!

Our Welcome Summer Party was packed with snow cones, games, laughter, and plenty of good vibes. Students and staff came together to enjoy some friendly competition, cool treats, and summer fun—including an epic watermelon eating contest that had everyone cheering! 🍉🏆

Events like these remind us that learning is important, but so is building connections and creating memories along the way.

Last week at the IOT Redding campus, we brought the fun with Spirit Week! 🎉 Students and staff showed off their creativity for Twin Day and Disney Day, and the campus was full of laughs, matching outfits, and Disney magic. 👯‍♀️🏰✨

And yesterday, we came together for something even bigger — our campus blood drive! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make a difference in the community.
