Congratulations to Simpson alumna Dr. Christina (Partridge) Schnyders ('00) on her appointment as the ninth President of Warner Pacific University.
Since graduating from Simpson in 2000, Christina has served faithfully in Christian higher education as a professor, counselor, scholar, academic leader, and most recently as Provost at Malone University. We are grateful to see another Simpson graduate leading with excellence and influencing the next generation of students.
Please join us in congratulating Christina and praying for her family as they begin this exciting new chapter.

What do you do when God's next step isn't immediately clear?
That's a question Simpson alumnus Robert Kovacs ('16) has been asking in this current season of life.
After serving as a worship pastor for nearly five years, Robert and his family have entered a season of transition. While the path ahead hasn't unfolded exactly as planned, he's discovering once again that God remains faithful, even when we can't yet see the whole picture.
Reflecting on this journey, Robert shares:
"Often, things don't turn out the way we think they should. Even when we can't see the whole picture, God is always faithful to light that next step. One of the most fruitful things we can do is remain humble in all circumstances, trusting that Jesus, not ourselves, holds it all together."
On Tuesday, June 30, Robert will join fellow Simpson alumnus Todd Gorton ('96) for our Next Steps: Ministry & Calling conversation. Together they'll share honest stories about following God's leading through seasons of ministry, transition, and vocational change.
If you're navigating questions of calling, discerning your next step, or simply looking for encouragement from fellow Simpson alumni, we'd love to have you join us.

What if the work God has you doing today is preparing you for something you never expected?
That's a theme Simpson alumnus Todd Gorton ('96) has experienced throughout his career. His journey has included pastoral ministry, nonprofit leadership, broadcast media, and today leading Community Impact efforts for In-N-Out Burger, where he oversees community giving, volunteerism, and partnerships that serve communities across the western United States.
Reflecting on God's leading, Todd shares:
"The best way to think about 'what's next' is to hold two thoughts together in tension. First, 'what's now' and second, 'what could be.' We embrace today with gratitude while trusting God to direct our steps into tomorrow."
On Tuesday, June 30, Todd will join fellow Simpson alumnus Robert Kovacs ('16) for our next Next Steps: Ministry & Calling conversation.
If you're navigating questions of calling, transition, leadership, or what God may have next, we'd love to have you join us.
