-- 01:35pm - COVID-19 Update: 03/16/20
Redding, Shasta, and Igo School Districts will provide an opportunity for families to pick up two meals daily (lunch and breakfast for the following day) in a mobile walk-up or drive-thru meal service for children 18 and under. You can pick up as many meals during this service based on the number of children that are in the car at the time of pick up. This will begin Tuesday, March 17 at all 9 school sites from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. At this time, this service will continue through Friday, April 3, with some possible location adjustments based on the numbers of participants at each distribution site. If a location has low participation, then we may be forced to consolidate to fewer locations.
Food distribution Monday through Friday at the following locations: Look for Signs (image attached) to direct pick-up at each location.

These meals will be available free of charge for anyone 18 and under regardless of what school they attend. No paperwork is required. Children must be present in order for meals to be provided. Meals will be provided based on the number of children present. This program will be solely for the pick up of meals, and meals will not be consumed on-site. We encourage families to continue to be proactive in reducing the risk of COVID-19 by not congregating at the school-site and utilizing social distancing once meals have been distributed.
We will continue to do our best to keep you informed. Circumstances may change quickly so we encourage you to check our website at http://reddingschools.net for additional updates.
We recognize that this closure will be a hardship for many families and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we help to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and families.
Sincerely,
Robert Adams
